Solar Power Energy

According to the law of conservation of energy, energy can neither be created nor be destroyed. But it can be converted from one form to another.
So as we know, the rate of consumption of energy is growing incredibly, the need for the search of different new forms of energy is on the lists of prime importance for scientists and engineers.

But why are we searching for new ways when we have the MOTHER OF ALL ENERGIES-SOLAR ENERGY as the most extensive and in-exhaustible source of energy.
Yes, SOLAR ENERGY has the largest amount of potential to become the prima-Donna of energy sources in the near future. Rather we can say that SOLAR ENERGY is the only thing which can save us from the unknown disasters which wound occur when our energy needs far exceed our energy supplies.
SOLAR ENERGY is the form of energy which we receive in the form of electromagnetic radiations from the nuclear fission reactions that happen inside the sun.

These rays or rather radiations are sent out from the nucleus of Hydrogen, as a result of the mass defect which occurs when two of these atoms combine together to form a Helium nuclei. According to Einstein’s Mass- energy relation this mass defect is converted to energy, which is nothing but SOLAR ENERGY.
Now as the process of conversion of hydrogen atoms into helium nuclei is going to continue until all the hydrogen atoms are consumed, the process of radiating solar energy is going to continue until a long time.

Thus the tension of solar energy getting over is not the issue to be worried of. Also as the process of nuclear fission takes place without any human interference and without any human help it is generated free of cost.
Also as solar energy is transferred in the form of electromagnetic radiations, it is received on earth at the speed of light. Thus naturally when the time available of energy transition is so less the chances of energy getting wasted are minimized. Hence the amount of energy received by earth from the sun is a lot, as the energy losses are minimum.
All these are the technical or scientific aspects of the solar energy. But what is of the prime importance is how can this solar energy be trapped and converted into other forms of energy. This issue becomes really important because solar energy as in it’s original form is hardly useful. But again from the law of conservation of energy this solar energy can be converted into other forms useful for human activities.

Solar energy is the energy that is produced by our sun.
